JUITA (Jurnal Ilmiah Tafsir Alkitab) was established in 2024 and is published by Sekolah Tinggi Teologi Injili Indonesia Samarinda, Indonesia.

Since its first publication, JUITA has been committed to providing a scholarly platform for research in Biblical Studies, especially in the interpretation of biblical texts. The journal was founded to support the development of academic discourse in biblical exegesis, hermeneutics, and related fields of biblical scholarship.

In its early volumes, JUITA published articles in both Indonesian and English. Beginning with Volume 3 Issue 1 April 2026, the journal adopts English as the sole language of publication in order to strengthen its international visibility, readership, and scholarly engagement.

JUITA continues to develop its editorial policies, website quality, and publishing standards in order to serve the academic community more effectively and to align with internationally recognized standards of scholarly publishing.
