ARCHIVING POLICY

JUITA: Jurnal Ilmiah Tafsir Alkitab is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, availability, and accessibility of all published scholarly content.

As part of this commitment, JUITA preserves its published articles and related metadata through its official journal website and digital journal management system. The archived content includes full-text articles, article metadata, author information, abstracts, keywords, DOI where available, volume, issue, and publication year.

1. Digital Archiving and Preservation

JUITA supports long-term digital preservation through the use of appropriate archiving systems and backup mechanisms. Where available and technically supported, JUITA may participate in the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), a digital preservation service developed by the Public Knowledge Project for journals using Open Journal Systems (OJS).

The PKP Preservation Network is designed to preserve OJS journal content and support continued access to scholarly records in the event of journal discontinuation, technical disruption, or loss of access to the journal’s main website.

2. Content Preservation

All published articles are maintained as part of the journal’s permanent scholarly record. JUITA makes reasonable efforts to preserve published articles, metadata, publication history, and related records to ensure long-term discoverability and academic use.

In the event of website migration, platform changes, technical failure, or operational interruption, JUITA will make every reasonable effort to maintain or restore access to previously published content through available digital archives, backups, and preservation arrangements.

3. Author Self-Archiving

Authors are allowed to deposit and share the published version of their articles in institutional repositories, personal websites, academic profiles, or other scholarly platforms, provided that proper citation and a link to the official published version on the JUITA website are included.

4. Transparency

JUITA is committed to transparent journal management and responsible scholarly publishing. Information regarding the journal’s archiving and preservation practices will be made available on the official journal website and updated when necessary.

5. Corrections and Retractions

Published articles remain part of the scholarly record. If an article is corrected, updated, or retracted, JUITA will provide a clear notice in accordance with its publication ethics and editorial policies.
