Abstrak

Penelitian ini membahas penerapan nilai-nilai dalam Kejadian 2:8-17 sebagai landasan pembelajaran berbasis karakter di Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengeksplorasi implementasi pembelajaran karakter bertanggung jawab berbasis nilai Alkitabiah dan dampaknya terhadap pertumbuhan spiritual siswa. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif eksploratif, penelitian ini melibatkan 15 siswa beragama Kristen, guru pendidikan agama Kristen, dan orang tua untuk triangulasi data. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi nilai-nilai Alkitabiah dalam pembelajaran meningkatkan tanggung jawab, kedisiplinan, dan kesadaran spiritual siswa. Penerapan Kejadian 2:8-17 membentuk siswa sebagai individu yang bertanggung jawab terhadap Tuhan, sesama, dan lingkungan. Kolaborasi guru dan orang tua juga terbukti memperkuat pembentukan karakter holistik siswa. Studi ini menegaskan pentingnya integrasi nilai-nilai Alkitabiah dalam pendidikan untuk membentuk generasi muda dengan karakter unggul dan iman yang kokoh.
