SEJATI: Student Evangelical Journal Aiming at Theological Interpretation applies a transparent Article Processing Charge (APC) policy. The APC is charged only for manuscripts that have been accepted for publication after completing the editorial screening and peer-review process.

The APC is payable only after the manuscript is accepted for publication.
SEJATI charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) for accepted manuscripts. The APC is:
Publication Fee / Article Processing Charge: Rp150.000 per accepted article.
This fee supports the editorial and publication process of the journal and helps maintain the open-access availability of published articles.
The APC is charged only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication. Authors are not required to pay the APC at the time of submission.
Payment of the APC does not guarantee acceptance. All manuscripts must pass editorial screening and peer review before acceptance.
The APC supports the following publication activities:
SEJATI does not charge a submission fee. Authors may submit manuscripts without payment at the submission stage.
SEJATI does not charge readers or institutions for access to published articles. All published articles are freely available online under the journal’s Open Access Policy.

SEJATI may consider APC waiver or reduction requests in exceptional circumstances. Waiver or reduction may be considered for authors who face financial hardship, independent scholars, students without institutional funding, or authors from institutions with limited publication support.
Waiver or reduction requests must be submitted to the editorial office after acceptance and before publication. Authors must provide a clear explanation for the request. The decision to approve or decline a waiver request is made by the editorial office and does not affect editorial decisions.
APC payment, waiver requests, or funding status do not influence editorial decisions. Manuscripts are evaluated solely based on scholarly quality, originality, relevance to the journal’s focus and scope, methodological soundness, ethical compliance, and contribution to theological scholarship.
Editors and reviewers are not involved in financial transactions related to APC payment. Editorial decisions remain independent from payment matters.
Authors whose manuscripts have been accepted for publication will receive payment instructions from the editorial office. Authors should not make any payment before receiving official confirmation of acceptance and payment instructions from SEJATI.
Payment confirmation may be requested by the editorial office as part of the final publication process.
Authors whose manuscripts have been accepted for publication may complete the Article Processing Charge (APC) payment through bank transfer to the following account:

Authors should clearly include the article title, author name, and manuscript ID when sending proof of payment to help the editorial office verify the payment efficiently.
APC payments are generally non-refundable after the article has entered the final production process, including copyediting, layout editing, DOI preparation, or online publication.
Refund requests may be considered only in exceptional cases, such as duplicate payment or administrative error. Refund decisions are made by the editorial office based on the circumstances of each case.
SEJATI may update this APC policy when necessary. Any changes to the APC amount or payment procedure will be announced on the journal website. The applicable APC is the fee stated on the journal website at the time of manuscript acceptance.
SEJATI is committed to transparent, fair, and responsible publication fee practices. The APC policy is designed to support journal sustainability while maintaining open access, editorial independence, peer-review integrity, and ethical scholarly publishing.
