The journal is issued regularly in April and October, and serves as a scholarly platform dedicated to the critical interpretation of the Old Testament and New Testament texts across multiple exegetical levels—ranging from words, phrases, and verses to chapters, entire books, and biblical canons. JUITA aims to foster academic dialogue in the fields of biblical exegesis, theology, and hermeneutics, especially from a gospel-centered theological perspective. The journal welcomes original contributions employing various methodologies and interdisciplinary approaches, provided that the analysis remains grounded in biblical texts. All manuscripts submitted to JUITA undergo a double-blind peer-review process conducted by qualified reviewers to ensure academic integrity, originality, and contribution to the field. Submissions must represent unpublished, original research and should not be under consideration by other publications, whether in English, Indonesian, or any other language.
